Some information about the WakingSlowly blog
General
The WakingSlowly blog is something I do for fun, to find new images of beauty, new ideas and perspectives as well as a catharsis for ideas that need to find expression in a tangible form instead floating around like a cloud in my mind. Putting it on a page gives it form and solidifies the abstract thoughts from which they were born. The blog contains mostly images, quotes, images that include quotes, thoughts, dreams, hallucinations and the ponderings of my mind.
I have made a conscious decision to not disclose my name, picture, age, sex, religious affiliation (if any), birth date (if any), geographic location, dietary constraints, marital/relationship status, IQ, GPA (high school or college), water district, phone number, sexual preference, or the name of my dog (she likes her privacy too). Actually, I’m not quite sure I have a dog; she has a human - me. I am lucky enough that she has decided to share her life with me and my family. She is a wonderful friend, companion, playmate and protector. We love her dearly.

If I have posted something for which you would like to see credit given, please send me a message and I will gladly credit that artist. If I have unintentionally posted something that is copyrighted or to which you own the rights and you would like me to remove it, please send me a message and I will happily do so.

Credit
As of the last update of my theme, I left all credit and notes off of the home page. To obtain that information, just click on the image and you will be provided with all the information I have regarding the origin and to whom credit should go.

Following
As a rule, I do not automatically follow back. I follow those whose blogs in which I have the most interest. I frequently look at other blogs that I have bookmarked but don’t follow. I don’t like to have my dashboard too full so don’t “follow” everybody whose blog(s) I regularly browse.

Promoting
I usually don’t promote other blogs. The best promotion I can give most is to reblog their content. If you like something, find who posted it before I reblogged it and you’re likely to find a good blog. My home page does not show the notes associated with each post, but if you click on the image all the information I have will be shown.

Similarly, I reserve the right to not answer, or to answer in an oblique manner (largely depending on the question and my mood at the time I pen my response).
